The death of John Kennedy occurred on November 2, 1963 when he was visiting Texas to give several political speeches. While John was riding slowly in his car passing plenty of cheering crowds, a shot ranged out.It was said that three shots were fired and at least one of them may have been from under the car. The whole incident was a mystery to everyone. President Kennedy was rushed to a hospital and died shortly after. Within a few hours the police arrested Lee Harvey Oswald, who was convicted of the crime.
Lee was killed on November 24 by a man named Jack Ruby. Thus silencing the only man who can give any information about this tragic event.
The Warren Commission was organized to investigate the assassination to clarify the remaining questions.
There was total devastation in the hearts of all Americans for the loss of a great president. Most people still remember what they were doing and where they were when they heard the devastating news. Hundreds of thousands of people gather in Washington to attend his funeral and millions of people watched it on television.
